The Gospel Fest is a fundraiser for a community park that serves Decatur and Wayne Townships. Over the years, a playground, electricity, and walking trail are just a few of the improvements that have resulted from this event.

8th Annual BelAire Park Gospel Fest, Classic Car Show, Craft Fair and Chili Cook Off

Where once stood an old drive-in movie theater, now stands a city park built by the hands of neighborhood volunteers. The BelAire Park Gospel Fest marks its eighth year of fundraising for the 14 acre southwest side Indy Park. In previous years, fundraising efforts have contributed to the addition of walking trails, electricity and a playground. Monies raised at this year’s event will be used for the development of an amphitheater to host performances.

Numerous local gospel artists will be performing, including:  Dedication, Declare The Glory, Who I am on Thursday and Joshua Music Ministry. The festival will also include a classic car show, a chili cook off, a craft fair and door prizes. Activities for children will include:  rock climbing, face painting, a bounce house and clowns.
