Just starting to develop lists of potential performers, volunteers, venders and sponsors...whew! And, that is only the beginning!
Spent time with God today, praying that He would go before us and clear the way for each path He would have us to take. Most of all, that He would allow us the privilege of sharing Him with our community ... that those who need to hear that He loves them would be there!

ReplyDeleteLocal unless we get lucky, Lorie! This event has been around for a number of years and has built up some tradition that I am not sure we really want to mess with ... especially the first year.
ReplyDeleteA dear friend, Willie Cooley, began this festival to raise funds for the park. Because of health reasons, she has to give it up now.
Over the years, a playground, electricity, a shelter house, walking trail and partially paved driveway have been installed from proceeds.
